On August 14, 2015, Sam Dunagan became a big brother to William Dee Dunagan. While he was waiting on his new baby brother to be born, Sam was hard to keep occupied in the Butterfly Room during the many hours it took for his mommy to have their baby. Sam and his family were in the Butterfly Room because Will was a very special baby that was going to be born. While Sam never
got to meet his baby brother, Sam kept his mommy and daddy company over the next three days they were in the hospital, during the funeral home visitation, and in the many days to come. Even
at the age of 1, Sam knew something was wrong when his baby brother did not come home
from the hospital.
Through the years, Sam has spent many days visiting his brother at the graveside and understands that his baby brother is with Jesus.
The Dunagan Family has created this Sibling Bag in honor of their son, Sam, and in memory
of their son, Will, in hopes that it will help the siblings to such precious angel babies know
that they are not left out in their own grieving process.
